A tired but hopeful job seeker

Dear God,

Please, please, please help me get the job I was interviewed for last week.

After so many rejections, I’ve lost my self-esteem, and it hurts. I’m exhausted from working on applications, preparing for interviews, and facing rejection after rejection. In just a few days, it will be a year since I started praying for this. Please, Lord, do something for me—please!

Turn everything in my favor. Make the process easier. Pour Your power into my application. Let their decision be quick and favorable to me.

Please bless me with enough wealth to help children and those who suffer around the world. Keep my faith strong, no matter what happens.

Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart full of longing, lifting up Heaven’s prayer to You. Lord, You see the struggles, the weariness, and the discouragement they have faced through this long journey of job searching. You know every rejection, every disappointment, and every moment of self-doubt they have endured. But You, O God, are the One who opens doors no man can shut. Father, we ask in Jesus’ name that You turn everything in Heaven’s favor. Let Your divine hand move upon the hiring process, making the decision swift and favorable. Pour out Your power upon this application and let Your favor shine upon them. Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or imagine. Please grant them this job, providing financial security not just for themselves but also to bless others in need.

But above all, Lord, we pray that Heaven’s faith remains steadfast, no matter what happens. Remind them that their worth is not defined by a job or the opinions of others but by Your love and purpose for them. Strengthen their spirit, fill them with peace, and let them know that You are working all things together for their good. We trust in Your perfect timing, Lord. If this is the door You have opened, let no one close it. And if You have something greater, help Heaven to trust in Your greater plan. We declare victory in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
