I’m applying for a federal job. Today is when the announcement ends and I am nervous because my area has little for me. Pray that an opportunity comes; even if not this one, that someone will see my resume/skills a refer me for a role at this agency.
I’m lifting you up in prayer and believing with you for God’s favor. Heavenly Father, I ask that You calm this dear person’s nerves and fill their heart with peace. You see their desire to work, to serve, and to use the gifts You’ve given them. I pray that if this federal job is in Your will, You will open that door wide and let their application stand out. And if it’s not this one, I ask that you lead them to an even better opportunity — that someone in this agency will see their resume, recognize their skills, and refer them for the right role.
Lord, remind them that their future is not limited by their area, the job market, or any announcement deadline, but held securely in Your hands. Strengthen their faith, guide their steps, and let them feel Your presence and provision in this season. In Jesus’ name, amen.
