I’m a Christian, I attend church weekly. I believe and trust Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.
and Deuteronomy 31:8 - “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you not forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” I pray constantly, but my job has given me less and less hours, my income is very low. I have bills due. I am barely making it. My employer cannot guarantee more work. I know people whom the devil isn’t trying to destroy. Christians in name only and doing just fine, even in this economy. I do not know when or if God will show me mercy and help me. I know I have to trust him, but it is very hard and I need help now, right now. I want to break down and just cry, but I’ve never been able to release emotions like that. Please pray for me, I need help, I need God to enact his plans soon. I don’t know what else to do.
Heavenly Father, we come to You on behalf of Jason, lifting up his heartfelt cry to You. Lord, You have declared in Your Word that You know the plans You have for us, plans to prosper and not harm, to give hope and a future. We stand on this promise for Jason’s life. Lord, Jason is struggling. His hours have been reduced, his income is low, and the weight of his financial obligations is pressing heavily on him. He feels overwhelmed and uncertain. Father, we ask for Your divine intervention. Open doors that no man can shut. Provide opportunities for stable work and financial provision. Guide Jason to the right path that will lead to abundance and security according to Your will.
Lord, Jason sees others who seem to prosper without acknowledging You, and it deepens his discouragement. Help him to trust in Your timing and plan, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Strengthen his faith, renew his spirit, and pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding. You are the God who never leaves nor forsakes us. Surround Jason with Your love, provide for his needs, and lead him to the hope and future You have promised. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Father,
We are grateful that when we feel like we are breaking down, we can sit at Your feet and cry out for Your help. Thank You for listening to us and loving us through the hard seasons we don’t understand. Life isn’t always fair, or just. We don’t understand a lot, God, so we default back to repeating to ourselves who You are, regardless of how we feel and what’s happening. We pray: God, You have a plan for my life, to prosper and not harm me, to give me hope and a future. God, You go before me and are with me. You never leave me nor forsake me. I will not be afraid. I will not be discouraged.
Father, help us to keep repeating those truths when it’s hard to believe them. Help Your Word, wisdom, and comfort to go from our minds to our hearts. Lift us up to keep moving forward, God. Bless us with a fresh filling of Your Spirit and a renewed perspective.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
