I need prayer for someone I was once very close to.
She is struggling to accept the body and identity that God created her with. It is painful to watch someone you love believe something false about themselves. I know God formed her with intention and love, and that He does not make mistakes. But right now, she cannot see this, and it makes me depressed about her confusion.
Please pray that she remembers her dignity as a daughter of God, and that the wounds and confusion in her heart are healed. Pray that she hears Christ’s voice above every other influence and finds peace in the identity He gave her from the beginning.
I also ask prayers for her family; her mother and her four brothers, as they stand with her in the truth of God and try to support her without giving way to harmful ideology. Pray that they stay strong, patient, loving, and courageous. And please pray for me: that I trust God with her soul, and that I love with charity rather than fear or control. I just want her to return to the truth and to Christ, who alone can restore her.
Praise God.
