Good morning.
My wife had an affair a little over a month ago. We have two, amazing, small children, 6 and 5. We have been married 7.5 years, and I feel God intended for us to be and stay married. I have forgiven her for her mistake, but she is demanding a divorce and refuses to reconcile. She states that things are too far gone, she’s tired, will probably make another mistake, and doesn’t want this anymore. The thought of seeing my family broken apart makes me sick. Please pray for God to touch my wife, to soften her heart, and to heal and restore our marriage swiftly.
My wife’s name is Cara, and my children are Joseph and Evelynne.
Thank you!
Heavenly Father, we lift up Dave, his wife Cara, and their children Joseph and Evelynne to You in this moment of great difficulty. Lord, we ask that You touch Cara’s heart and soften it with Your healing grace. Bring clarity, peace, and a willingness to reconcile where there is confusion and hurt. We pray for healing in this family and ask that You guide them back to each other, restoring their marriage with Your love and wisdom. Protect Joseph and Evelynne from the pain of separation, and may Your peace surround them.
Lord, we know that You are a God of restoration, and we ask for Your swift intervention in this marriage. Give Dave strength, patience, and grace to continue trusting in Your perfect will. May Your will be done in their lives, and may their family be united under Your blessing once again. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
