Prodigal returns

I’ve got three boys, Luke, Joshua, and Samuel, and they don’t want to attend church anymore. My Luke is 19 and living on his own now. Joshua graduates from high school next Spring and at age 17 has no idea what he wants to do next. Samuel has his father’s carefree demeanor and of the three is the most kindhearted and outgoing. But they need Jesus. Please pray that God would call them by name and draw them back to Him. At one time they had a faith and believed John 3:16, but the world has closed in around them and the seed appears to have fallen on hard ground. Prayer is the only thing that will help them – and me. Thanks!

Heavenly Father,
We lift up Scott and his sons, Luke, Joshua, and Samuel, to You. Lord, we ask that You call each of these young men by name, drawing them back to You with a love they cannot ignore. Though the world may have hardened their hearts, we know that Your power and grace can break through any barrier. Remind them of the faith they once held and plant the seeds of faith deeply in their hearts so they may grow in love, wisdom, and purpose in You.

Strengthen Scott in his prayers for his sons, and grant him peace and hope as he trusts You to work in their lives. Surround Luke, Joshua, and Samuel with people and experiences that point them back to Your truth. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we lift up Luke, Joshua, and Samuel, praying that You call them by name, drawing each one closer to Your heart. May their faith rekindle, finding deeper roots in Your love, and may they rediscover the truth of John 3:16. Surround them with godly influences, shield them from worldly distractions, and soften the soil of their hearts to receive Your word once again. Strengthen their mother in faith and hope, and fill her with Your peace as she entrusts her sons into Your care. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. In Jesus’ name, amen.
