I am disabled. I have been disabled sense 2007. I’m in a wheelchair. I can walk partially with a walker small amounts. I am a mother of three age 27, 10, & 8. I recently got my license for the first time since becoming disabled. And that was a blessing but still struggling trying to come up with the money for a down payment to get a car that is required by insurance and disability because of this I have to have a 2013 or newer SUV that’s low to the ground in order for me to get in and out of with a wheelchair and also to be able to have the hand controls installed in it. The state is going to pay for the Hand Control and the installation of them. I just have to obtain the vehicle.This would be the biggest blessing I have possibly gotten in so long because I would be able to get my kids back-and-forth to school as well as get them and myself back-and-forth to doctors appointments instead I’ve had to rasking pay everybody else to do it cause sometimes as I’m sure you know paying someone else to do it. Yes, it is easier but it a lot of times it is so much more expensive.
