Please pray. My boyfriend and I have been going to premarital counseling for around a year. He has debt, is overworked, unable to go to church, and also has other stressors like immigration, going to night school. for the past few weeks he just says he is depressed and ignores my calls and texts, a few days later, another text saying he is still not feeling well. And won’t respond to texts and calls. Valentine’s Day he didn’t say a single thing to me.
He won’t even say if our relationship is over or not. Just that he’s depressed. I don’t know what to do, how to help him, my heart breaks every day, I just want to request prayer for him, for God to help him get his footing, also for me, my heart hurts… Please pray Jesus will help us be honest and communicate and still work toward marriage together, trusting God…
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Kmaz and her boyfriend into Your loving hands. Lord, You see the burdens weighing on his head , his debt, his overwhelming work, his night school, his immigration concerns, and now the deep depression that has taken hold of him. Father, we ask that You break every chain of heaviness, exhaustion, and discouragement in his life. Touch him, Lord, with Your healing hand and bring him out of this darkness into Your marvelous light. Give him strength, clarity, and renewed hope in You.
Father, we also lift up Kmaz, whose heart aches with uncertainty and sadness. Lord, You are the healer of broken hearts, the God of comfort, and the One who makes a way when there seems to be none. Surround her with Your love, fill her with Your peace, and grant her the wisdom to know how to navigate this difficult season. Help her to trust You fully, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans for her life are good. Lord, we pray for restoration in their communication and their relationship. If it is Your will, bring them together in unity and love, leading them to a marriage that glorifies You. Soften his heart to open up, to be honest, and to share his struggles with her. May they both seek You first and find strength in You. Jesus, we surrender them to You, knowing that You are the God who restores, heals, and guides. Let Your will be done in their lives. We declare peace, breakthrough, and divine direction over them. In Jesus’ holy name, we pray. Amen.
