My daughter spent her High School years and then college away from me, as divorced parents must do sometimes. I feel we lost bonding time and we are not as close as I would like to be. She says everything is fine and we should focus on the future and not the past but that is difficult for me because I was trying to be a good Mom by allowing her to move overseas with her Dad for High School. Now it appears that she is closer to her Dad and I want to get closer to her. Please help me pray for her to want to call, text, visit me sometimes. She does it now but I still feel it could be better. I thank God for giving her to me and she is beautiful, smart and independent but perhaps too independent for me!!!
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this mother’s heartfelt request to strengthen the bond with her daughter. Lord, we thank You for the gift of her daughter, for her independence, beauty, and intelligence. We ask that You heal any sense of distance between them, and guide their hearts toward deeper connection and understanding. Father, please give her daughter the desire to reach out more often and nurture their relationship with love and grace. Help this mother to rest in Your peace, trusting in Your perfect timing for their bond to grow stronger. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of children, especially for Cpsnipe10’s daughter, who has grown into a beautiful, smart, and independent woman. Lord, You know the heart of a mother, who deeply desires a closer connection with her daughter. We ask for Your guidance in restoring any lost time and bringing healing to their relationship. Help her daughter to feel drawn to reach out more, to call, text, and visit her regularly.
Lord, we thank You for the strength and wisdom given to this mother, who made difficult decisions in her daughter’s best interest. Let there be no bitterness from the past, but rather, let the future be filled with mutual love, understanding, and grace. We ask that You soften their hearts towards one another and allow them to bond in new and meaningful ways. Help them to cherish the moments they have now, and may their relationship grow stronger every day.
