I would like to ask for your prayers during this season of my doctoral application. My research proposal has been submitted, and I am now waiting for recommendation letters while preparing for upcoming interviews and presentations. Through this process, I am reminded once again of my human limitation, and how deeply I depend on the Lord’s wisdom and guidance.
Recently I have been struggling with fatigue, irregular rest, and difficulty maintaining focus. The cold of winter and the pressures of my surroundings have made it harder to stay steady both in mind and spirit. Yet I still pray that the Lord would renew my strength—that in weakness I may rely on Him, in anxiety I may find His peace, and in darkness I may lift my eyes to His light.
May God grant me the grace to glorify Him in both scholarship and daily life, even amid pressures and subtle forms of opposition. May I not shrink back in fear nor lose faith in hardship, but stand firm in truth, walk humbly in grace, and endure patiently in love.
Please also pray that in the waiting and uncertainty, I may find rest in His will—not seeking my own success, but that His name be lifted high and His purpose fulfilled.
