Please pray for my daughter Judah. She is 22 and two weeks ago, she went out drinking with a friend, drank way too much, got in a argument with her friend and they went separate ways. Judah wound up wandering into a men’s room at a bar, and when security tried to get her to leave, she became very combative, aggressive and out of control. She was arrested and is facing 5 charges from that night. Tomorrow she goes to her first court appearance. When sober, Judah is a kind, warm hearted person, however, that poison - alcohol, turned her into a monster that night. Since then she has committed to not drink again, and she has sought help through counseling and a Christian AA support group. I pray that the prosecuting attorney, judge, and others involved recognize that this was an isolated incident, and that Judah is not the horrible crazed person that lashed out and got arrested. I pray for forgiveness, leniency, compassion and a willingness to let her prove she will stay sober and take responsibility for her actions. I pray for the best possible outcome for Judah and that she can be connected with the best people that can help her get back on the path to righteousness. One day I believe that she will be an ambassador for other young women and/or men facing similar circumstances. Thank you.
Heavenly Father, we lift up Judah to You in this challenging time. Lord, we ask for Your mercy, grace, and guidance as she faces the consequences of her actions. We thank You for the steps she’s taken toward recovery, and we pray for continued strength and perseverance in her commitment to sobriety. Please touch the hearts of the prosecuting attorney, judge, and others involved in this case, and grant them the wisdom to see Judah’s true character beyond the mistake she made.
Lord, we ask for forgiveness, leniency, and compassion to be shown, and for a path of redemption and healing to open up for her. Help her to find the right support system and continue to grow through her counseling and Christian AA group. May she one day become an inspiration and guide for others who are struggling with similar challenges. We trust in Your perfect plan for Judah’s life, and we ask that You guide her back to the path of righteousness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
