Dear Prayer Team,
Please guide me on how to understand not to continue doing things so that his grace may abound but to follow him in his footsteps (Romans 6:1-2). How can I be more sure that I have received his free gift without satan or too much sin interfering. I need prayer for where my sin has increased grace has abounded more (v 5:20).
PS:
Let me share how to live according to the spirit if needing help on it. However, I still need prayed for to be delivered from trouble.
Mark Slaney
Dear Mark,
Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly.
Grace is not permission to keep sinning; it is the power, through Christ, to walk in a new life (Romans 6:1–2). When you turn from sin and trust in Jesus alone, your assurance doesn’t rest in your feelings or failures, but in His finished work on the cross and His promises in Scripture. Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more (Romans 5:20), not so you could stay in bondage, but so you could be truly free.
I’m praying that God will:
• Give you a deep hatred for sin and a deeper love for Jesus.
• Fill you with the Holy Spirit so you can walk in His footsteps daily.
• Deliver you from every trouble and every trap of the enemy.
