My name is Stephanie Tapia and I am here to seek prayer for my math exam . It’s been so hard to stay completely focused for these last 9 or 10 months . I had a brother that passed away of colon cancer back in August 2025 and since then I feel like I don’t have the strength to focus . Apart from that I moved from my apartment in February and really it’s been a lot I’ve had to handle . I have this one thing left to do and it’s finish this GED program and pass my math exam finally . It is what I am missing so I can have open doors to new opportunities of work in the future and be able to have financial stability for me and my child . I am a single mother who has to do it all by myself and I don’t know where I get the strength to keep on going but it has to be from God because lord knows it is a lot . I pray I can sit down and focus and be able to comprehend what I’m being taught and that I improve my algebra skills and be able to solve bigger word problems in math . I pray I’m able to understand what I’m being asked in my math exam questions and have a clear mind on what I am answering. I sometimes get a bit of mental fog and feel lost in what I am doing when it comes to this exam .
Stephanie, thank you for sharing your heart. I’m so sorry for the loss of your brother and for all that you’ve had to carry this past year: grief, a move, being a single mother, and the pressure of your GED and math exam. It’s completely understandable that focusing has been hard with so much on your shoulders. The fact that you’re still pressing forward shows a lot of courage and strength.
Let me pray for you:
Heavenly Father,
I lift up Stephanie to You right now. You see her pain, her grief, her exhaustion, and her deep desire to build a better future for herself and her child. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted, and You promise to give wisdom to those who ask.
I ask that You would give Stephanie a calm, clear mind as she studies and when she sits for her math exam. Remove the mental fog, the confusion, and the anxiety. Replace it with Your peace that passes all understanding. Help her to focus, to remember what she’s learned, and to understand each question on the exam.
Lord, strengthen her in her algebra skills and in solving word problems. Let things that once seemed confusing begin to make sense. Give her confidence instead of fear, and remind her that she is not alone, You are with her in every moment.
Provide for her and her child, Father. Open doors of opportunity, stable work, and financial provision. Surround her with people who will encourage, support, and uplift her. Turn her pain into testimony and her struggle into victory.
We ask all this in Jesus’ name, amen.
Stephanie, keep going. Wanting to finish your GED and pass this exam for a better future for you and your child is a beautiful, powerful motivation. Even when you feel weak, God’s strength is made perfect in your weakness. One step, one study session, one prayer at a time—He is with you.
