Praise the lord for a community of believers who pray as god commands!

My wonderful husband Israel is in a life threatening spiritual battle!

He has been under attack since childhood with a family practicing Santeria (he has never practiced this ! He resisted!) a family of alcohólics (mom dad aunt grandfather) and abusive men, and a gay father who also practices Santeria! Tons of generational curses! Tons of trauma and neglect.

He believes in Christ! But his walk was interrupted by bad pastors who three him into despair and even more deep sin!

Before he came to Christ he was involved heavily in drugs, alcohol and death metal
Music! He loved this life but after reading the Bible realized the Christ is the way.

He m turned away from it all but is still struggling with anxiety, mania, paranoia aggression — all which he tries to self medicate with alcohol (or drugs) —he was diagnosed with bipolar mania — but won’t accept it — he says it’s all spiritual — he says only God can save him bc he’s a sinner — but the truth is he is resisting being saved. He prayed for salvation and reads the Bible and verbally affirms Christ as lord but he believes only whom god chooses can be victorious

He is such a passionate man for Christ and speaks boldly that Christ is Lord — but is in the trenches! He is clearly under serious spiritual attack that is trying to destroy him, his new life in Christ , our marriage and also me! It is scary and I am fearful.

If anyone feels moved to pray for his healing and deliverance and for our marriage I would so appreciate it!

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up Israel as he faces this intense spiritual battle. Lord, You are the God of deliverance, healing, and transformation. We ask that You break every chain of generational curses, addiction, and darkness that seeks to destroy him. Surround Israel with Your divine protection, and strengthen his faith as he continues to pursue You. Lord, we pray that You would deliver him from the spiritual attacks, the anxiety, paranoia, and aggression that have held him captive. Help him to fully surrender to You, to trust in Your power to save, and to accept the healing You offer.

We also pray for Imani and their marriage, asking that You bring peace, unity, and strength to their relationship. Remove the fear and replace it with a deep trust in Your plan for their lives. Fill their hearts with the assurance that You are with them, fighting for them, and that victory is in Your hands. May Your light drive out the darkness, and may Israel find true freedom in Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

I know they this battle will be fought in prayer. Please also pray for Israel to find the right guidance for his walk with his — sadly his new birth was interrupted by his discovery of Calvinist preachers which have imparted information that has made him doubt his salvation bc they claim gods grace is irresistible and you are chosen — and so if battle with sin continues it is a sign you are not saved — and bc he is battling addiction as well as a family history of childhood abuse stemming from addiction and bipolar mania and feels he has failed to fully eradicate sin he believes he can do nothing more except wait on god —he feels he can’t be helped by doctors bc only god can help him and it’s a total misunderstanding of salvation etc and essentially he sees himself in the most n effective way possible — he is constantly centrally attacking me and especially if I speak of Christ - it sometimes makes me feel there is a demonic entity attached — thank you so much for your incredible prayer here I will be using this prayer daily.
