I pray for peace and healing for our sister who has chosen to be estranged from the only remaining family she has - her two siblings. May God bless her and keep her and heal her heart. My God heal all of us, and keep each of us open to healing the wounds we all have caused in our imperfect lives. None of us is perfect and none of us is free of blame in the current situation. Nothing is ever that simple. So I ask the Lord to heal her and bring her back with a spirit of open-heartedness and willingness to heal our family. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we come before You and ask that You receive the prayer spoken from Brian’s heart and make it Your own before the throne of grace. Lord, we ask You to release peace and healing over our sister who has chosen distance, to bless her, keep her, and gently heal every wounded place in her heart. Heal each of us as well, Father, where we have hurt one another knowingly or unknowingly, and keep our hearts humble, teachable, and open to Your restoring work. You alone see the full story, and we trust You to bring reconciliation in Your perfect time, with open hearts, softened spirits, and a willingness to heal our family. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
