Prayer Request for My Son, Karl 
I would like to ask for prayers for my 15-year-old son, Karl, who will be leaving on November 17 to enter a juvenile program for up to six months. I pray that, by God’s grace, if he does well, he may be able to come home in four months.
I ask God to please watch over Karl, protect him from harm, and keep him safe throughout his time away from home. May God give him strength, wisdom, patience, and the courage to make better choices. I pray that this experience will be a turning point in his life, helping him grow, learn from his mistakes, and become the young man God created him to be.
Please pray that Karl finds peace in his heart, especially as he continues to cope with the loss of his father. May he always feel God’s presence and know that he is never alone, even when he feels lonely or discouraged. I pray that God surrounds him with the right people, guides his decisions, and gives him the strength to do well in the program.
I also ask for prayers for myself as his mother. This has been one of the most painful experiences of my life. It breaks my heart knowing that Karl will be away during my birthday, the third anniversary of his father’s passing, Christmas, and New Year’s. Please pray that God gives me strength, comfort, peace, and faith as I face these difficult months without my son at home.
I pray that time passes quickly, that Karl completes the program successfully, and that he comes home safely. I am working hard to save money and prepare for a fresh start for both of us when this chapter of our lives is finally over. My greatest hope is that we can move forward, leave the pain of this experience behind us, and build a better future together.
Above all, I pray that this will be the last time Karl and our family have to go through something like this. May God guide him toward a better path and give him the opportunity to prove that he can change.
Thank you for praying for my son. I believe in the power of prayer, and I trust that God will continue to watch over Karl, protect him, and lead him in the right direction. May God’s grace carry us through this difficult season and bring my son home safely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
