Heavenly Father, I am having a difficult time awaiting a firm diagnosis as to the cause of my health issues over the last year. The possibility of pancreatic cancer looms over me and is beginning to rule my day. Please help me to live in the moment and accept Your will for my life. I love you; and I thank you. Amen

Heavenly Father, we lift up Jackie to You as she navigates the uncertainty of her health and the concern of a possible diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Please grant her peace that surpasses all understanding and help her to trust in Your perfect will for her life. Calm her heart and mind, allowing her to live in the present, resting in Your love and grace. Strengthen her faith, and surround her with Your healing power. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I am very grateful to those of you who chose to pray for me. I was able to speak with my 2 adult children and made them aware of the seriousness of what is going on inside my body right now. That conversation took a lot of weight off my shoulders. I have a huge amount of support from my co-workers (we work in a large primary care office). Jackie, it’s so encouraging to hear that you were able to share your situation with your adult children and that the weight has been lifted. It sounds like you have a strong support system around you, and we are so thankful that your co-workers are there for you as well. Please know that we are continuing to lift you up in prayer as you face these health challenges, trusting that God’s peace and guidance will carry you through each step. Thank you all for your prayers. Today I had a CT PET scan which will show if there are any tumors other than the tiny one which was in my stomach. The “waiting game” is almost over and I’ll finally know what is happening inside my body and a treatment plan wii begin. Thank you for your prayers, strength and friendship! Jackie
