Saint Anthony of Padua,
gentle helper and restorer of what is lost,
I come to you with a heavy but honest heart.
I have lost someone I deeply love —
not because love was absent,
but because I made mistakes, spoke untruths,
and let fear turn into pressure.
I ask you, Saint Anthony,
to help restore what was lost between us
if it can be restored in truth, peace, and respect.
Please soften her heart where pain still lives,
not to force her will,
but to allow understanding, forgiveness, and clarity to grow.
Help her see my love as it truly is —
imperfect, but real, learning, and sincere.
And please change me where I need changing:
teach me patience instead of control,
honesty instead of fear,
and love that gives space instead of pressure.
If this relationship can be healed,
guide us gently back toward one another.
If it cannot, give me the strength to accept God’s will
without bitterness or resentment.
Saint Anthony,
intercede for us with kindness,
and help me walk the right path —
whether it leads back to her,
or toward becoming a better man worthy of love.
