I thank God for my son Samuel, and for making me his mother. I thank Him for his life and his person. Samuel is 18 years old, he is living on his own. Samuel works at night, and he says he has no motivation to do anything, he sleeps all day, and he has isolated himself from his brothers. He is irritable and I think he is suffering from depression. I thank God that he has a job and is able to provide for himself thaks to God, but I think the hours that he works don’t help his mental health or physical health. Samuel used to go to train for a sort of kickboxing sport, now he doesnt go, althoug he said to his brother before that he wanted to pursue that more seriously. He had said in the past that he wante to learn a trade, and now he says he isnt interested in going to school for anything. He has made appointments for his driving permit and missed them, and he failed the first test. I try to help him and give him advise, but I am far away and cant be present and hug him and give him affection. He only has friends online, that he plays and talks with at night when he isnt working. Please pray that he will learn new habits, he used to cook and now he orders a lot of junk food. Please pray that he will stop doing these desctructive behaviours, please pray that God will give him wisdoms, discernment and take away the negativity in his life, if its resentment, unforgiveness, stress and loneliness. Please pray for Gods grace and mercy in his life. Please pray that he will connect with his brothers again, and form close relationships with them. And that he will form healthy relationships with friends that will motivate him, edify him, support him and comfort him. Please pray that God will touch him in a miracleous way and that he will learn to lean on him. Please restore his relathionship with me as well. Please pray that his life will change and that he will no longer be depressed and unmotivated and that God will give him wisdom to make good choices for himself and that he will find healing. Pray that God will heal his mind, his body and his spirit. That God will help him see himself as God sees him, with love and worth. Please pray that he will continue to bless him with provision and that God will open doors for him, and that he will receive God’s blessing. Dear Lord
Please provide for Samuel. May he find joy, be surrounded by good loving people, and find your path to distance himself from negativity in his life. May he break the chains of depression and see the world and the goodness you have placed in it.
