God, please allow me to rest. If I don’t, I’m afraid I will wreak havoc on those I love and loathe. Please allow me to let go of this life. Please give me a peaceful rest and a happy life on the next. Forgive me for I must sacrifice myself for the better good. Please be kind enough to grant this last wish of mine.
Heavenly Father, we lift up the words of Faye to You. You know the weight she carries, the pain behind her plea, and the depth of her weariness. Lord, if these are cries from a hurting soul, we ask You to surround her with Your comfort, peace, and presence. If she feels overwhelmed, be her rest. If she feels lost, be her guide. Father, we do not always understand the battles others face, but we know You are close to the brokenhearted. Please extend Your mercy to Faye, bring healing where there is hurt, hope where there is despair, and peace where there is turmoil.
We pray that her heart would know Your love in this life—and not just in the next. Let her find rest not in escape, but in You. We trust in Your compassion and perfect will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
