Title: Prayer for Diligence and Provision
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your guidance and strength to avoid the temptation of laziness and complacency. Help us to use the time and abilities You’ve given us wisely, that we may work diligently and responsibly to provide for ourselves and our families. Grant us the energy and motivation to stay active and purposeful in all that we do, and remind us that our labor is an act of worship to You.
Lord, we pray that You open doors of opportunity and bless the work of our hands, that we may always have enough to share and to spare. Keep us from the love of sleep and slothfulness, and instead, help us to embrace each day with gratitude and a spirit of service. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
