Our granddaughter surrendered her life to the Lord a few weeks ago. She lives with us and previously had dated a guy from college for a few weeks and found out that he was a drug addict and had overdosed several times. She was fearful of him and took steps @ college to ensure her safety. However she had a class with him and he has manipulated her to believe he has changed. He is a not a saved Christian and we are fearful for her. She is very gullible and drawn to him and we realize it is the flesh and Satan trying to derail her walk with the Lord. Please please pray that her eyes will be opened to realize this is not of the Lord and that she will cease to see him
Pray she will grow in her Lord and Savior and prepare the right one for her life! We are very concerned for her safety and her walk with Jesus. She is a babe in Christ

Heavenly Father, we lift up CookieG’s granddaughter to You. Thank You for her recent surrender to Christ, what a precious beginning to her journey with You. Lord, she is young in the faith and vulnerable, and the enemy seeks to confuse and distract her. We ask that You open her eyes to the truth. Expose any lies or manipulation, and break any soul ties that are not of You. Protect her heart, her mind, and her body from danger, deception, and harm.
Draw her near to You, Holy Spirit, and strengthen her to walk in purity, wisdom, and courage. Surround her with godly influences and mentors. Help her to recognize the difference between fleshly desires and Your holy will. Please remove anyone from her life who would lead her away from You, and prepare a godly man for her in Your time, someone who loves You and will lead her with grace and truth. We pray peace, protection, and deep spiritual growth over her, and wisdom and strength for CookieG and the family. Thank You for Your unfailing love and power. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
