Prayer for job situation

I have been at my job for 20 years and I’ve been nothing short of a hard-working, dependable, and dedicated employee. I’ve absolutely put my heart and my soul into this job every day that I’ve been there. A new employee was hired in the early part of this year, and was made my supervisor. She micromanages everything and everybody including departments that she is not ove, but she especially especially micromanages me. She knows very little about my job so she’s put me in charge of training a new employee who is supposed to help our department. I’m doing my current job and part of my old job and trying to train the new employee all the while being bombarded with special requests from my supervisor. I’ve been telling her for quite some time that I am overwhelmed and need help but instead of help, I got written up today because she thinks I have a bad attitude. I pleaded my case to her and Human Resources today to no avail. I will be closely monitored for the next 60 days and monitoring will continue for one year. I’ve never been in trouble until this new supervisor started. Please pray that I don’t lose my job. I really need this job and this pay in order to take care of my family.

Heavenly Father, we come to You with a humble heart on behalf of Your child, who has faithfully served in their job for 20 years. Lord, You see their dedication, hard work, and the challenges they are now facing with a new supervisor who does not fully understand their role.

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention. Grant wisdom, understanding, and fairness to the leadership in this workplace, especially to the supervisor and Human Resources. Lord, soften hearts so that they may see the truth of this situation and act with integrity and justice. Give Your child the strength, patience, and peace to endure this trial. Lord, ease their burden and bring them relief from the overwhelming responsibilities they carry. Provide clarity and guidance to help them navigate the challenges ahead and preserve their job so they can continue to provide for their family.

We ask for Your favor during this monitoring period, that no harm or further accusations arise against them. Help them maintain a positive attitude and a spirit of grace, even under pressure. Surround them with supportive colleagues and open doors for improvement in this environment. Father, if it is Your will, we pray for a new opportunity where they can thrive and feel valued, free from undue stress and conflict. Let Your will be done in their life, bringing them hope and assurance that You are in control. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
