My son, Kevin, has suffered from alcohol addiction for most of his life. He has been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver further complicated with hepatic encephalopathy. He has been hospitalized 5 times this year and has gone to emergency over a dozen times. At this moment he is at the emergency room and will probably be admitted. He had blood work done this afternoon and the lab called and told his doctor to have him go to the hospital immediately. His reports were twice as high as normal. He is in very much pain and is also very frightened. Please pray that they will be able to get his blood count under control. His liver has all but shut down. Please also pray that he will somehow be strong and will fight this thing. He is all that I have and I don’t think I can bear if he leaves me now, Please pray that he and I will be given the strength to endure what ever is coming, but please pray that it will not be his time to go just yet. We lift Kevin up to you. He is in a battle right now, a battle for sobriety and for improved liver function. Please battle with Kevin and project him. Let him get the physical healing he needs. Open his eyes and heart to the love people have for him and walk with him in the battle for sobriety.
