My 40 year old daughter needs a better paying job ASAP to support herself and her son (she is divorced from an abusive marriage). We do what we can, but we are on limited income so it’s hard & she needs to not depend on us all the time (we are older & will not always be around) Also for her spiritually - that she puts God first in her life again. Also pray for her son who is only 10 and has to deal with a narcissist dad who is verbally abusive, but we don’t have any “proof” to be able to keep him from his dad. He sees his dad every weekend. His dad lives about 3 hours away. Thank you.
Heavenly Father, I lift up Kay1’s daughter before You. Lord, she needs a better paying job to support herself and her son. Open doors of opportunity for her, provide favor with employers, and guide her to the right path where she can thrive and not struggle. Help her not to lean on her own strength but to put You first again, that her heart may be rooted in faith and hope.
I also pray for her son, Lord. Cover him with Your protection and peace as he navigates the pain of having a father who speaks harshly to him. Guard his heart from lasting wounds and let him know his worth in You. Be with Kay1 and her family as they do their best to help, even with limited means. Strengthen them and remind them that You will never leave them nor forsake them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
