Please pray for my marriage. My husband’s brother came and they got drunk. He encouraged my husband to drink and try and hit me. Please pray the Lord will convict my husband’s heart. My husband is saying he wants a divorce now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting Carol and her marriage to You. Lord, You see the pain and turmoil she is experiencing. We ask You to intervene in her situation with Your divine power and grace. Please touch her husband’s heart, convicting him of his actions and drawing him away from destructive behaviors, including drinking and violence. Father, we pray for restoration in their marriage. Heal the wounds caused by these conflicts and fill their home with Your peace, love, and understanding. Soften her husband’s heart, and replace anger and thoughts of separation with humility and a desire to reconcile. Protect Carol from harm and strengthen her as she navigates this challenging time.
Lord, we also pray for her husband’s brother. Lead him away from being a source of temptation and instead guide him to be a source of encouragement and wisdom. Bring healing and forgiveness to all relationships affected by these events. Holy Spirit, pour out Your comfort on Carol. Give her courage, wisdom, and clarity as she seeks Your guidance. Surround her with supportive and godly counsel, and remind her that You are always with her, holding her in Your loving arms. In the mighty name of Jesus, we ask for Your intervention, protection, and restoration. Amen.
