My husband filed pur divorce papers today. I know I have to let him go and work on myself. However, I still feel like God will restore us and we will reconcile one day and build a healthy, happy marriage. He is the love of my life and this is very difficult, but i know God has a plan through all of the tears, the pain, and the heartache.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Your loving hands. Lord, You see the pain, the tears, and the heartache that this beloved person is experiencing. Even as their husband has filed for divorce, there is still hope and love within their heart. They believe in Your power to restore and reconcile, trusting that Your plans are good and filled with purpose, even through this challenging season. Father, we ask that You bring comfort, strength, and peace to their heart. Help them to lean on You and seek Your guidance as they work on themselves and grow in faith. Lord, if it is Your will, we pray for restoration and healing in this marriage. May forgiveness, love, and understanding be renewed between them. But above all, let Your perfect will be done, and give them the grace to trust You completely.
Surround them with Your presence, Lord. Remind them that they are not alone and that You walk with them every step of the way. Strengthen their spirit, and help them to find hope and joy in You, even as they navigate this painful process. We surrender this situation to You, Lord, believing that You are the God who can make all things new. May Your will be done, and may Your love and peace reign in their life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
