Prayers for Peace

Please pray for my family. Been praying for months for my daughter-her faith, her choices, her relationships. Unfortunately, she has continued down a path of hating her family (especially me) - she finds fault in everything we say, do, watch, etc. - even the church we attend. While she is fine to our face - she continues to criticize, complain and express her hatred towards us to her boyfriend who encourages this. She has applied for a job and plans to move away - mainly so she can have trips and sleepovers with her boyfriend. With this move we see her distancing herself more and more from her entire family and those who love and care for her. We are broken - she is a totally different person than before she met him. We’ve prayed for her eyes to be opened, for her faith and protection to no avail. Please pray as we adjust to losing her.

Dear Lord
We bring you Cindy’s concerns for her family. You are a light on the path for us. Please shine brightly for her daughter. Guide her in the choices and decisions she makes.
Amen

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Cindy and her daughter. Lord, You see the pain in this family, the sorrow of a mother who longs for her child’s faith to be restored. Father, we ask that You soften her daughter’s heart, open her eyes to see the truth, and bring her back into alignment with Your will. Remove any negative influences that are pulling her away from her family and from You. Convict her spirit, Lord, and remind her of the love, care, and wisdom her family has poured into her life. Father, we pray against any deception or confusion that has taken hold of her mind. Replace it with Your truth, love, and peace. Protect her from harm, both physically and spiritually. Let her recognize the blessings of family and the importance of godly relationships.

Lord, strengthen Cindy and her family as they walk through this heartbreaking season. Give them wisdom in their words, patience in their responses, and unwavering faith that You are still working in their daughter’s life. Let them not lose hope but trust that You have the final say. And, Father, for Cindy’s pain, we ask for Your comfort. Heal her broken heart. Surround her with Your presence, reminding her that You understand her grief. You are a God who restores, who redeems, and who calls the prodigal home. We declare in faith that Cindy’s daughter will return, not just physically, but spiritually, to the foundation of love and truth that has been laid for her. We trust You, Lord, even when we do not see immediate answers. Strengthen this family and bring peace where there is sorrow. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Praying for you and your family!
