Kindly pray for Maj Gen William Garrett. He is in Damascus on a Peace Keeping Mission. He & his troops have been attacked by cells of terrorists. He has loss some of his men & many are severely injured. Protection from God & more troops to come to his aid is needed. He is still outside his Army base on patrol.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for Maj. Gen. William Garrett and his troops who are on a peacekeeping mission in Damascus. Lord, You see the dangers they face and the tragic loss of life among them. We ask for Your divine protection over Maj. Gen. Garrett, his soldiers, and all those in harm’s way. Surround them with Your mighty angels, Lord, shielding them from further attacks.
We pray for healing and comfort for the injured and strength for those who are grieving the loss of their comrades. Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment for Maj. Gen. Garrett as he leads his troops, and we petition You to send the reinforcements and resources they desperately need. Lord, bring peace to this region, and let Your presence be a shield to all who seek to protect and preserve life. Grant Joan Barnes, who is interceding on their behalf, peace of mind and assurance that You are in control. We trust in Your power to intervene and bring hope in the midst of chaos.
