I know God is with me. I tried to raise my children “in the way they should go” - Christian home, grounded in church, homeschool to Christian school, ect… . They are adults, married and have children of their own [8 children all together]. They all live an hour or less away. My two sons drink and are controlled by their wives and my daughter “married” …. a woman! I’ve spoke my mind on their lack of following Jesus [probably was my first mistake!?!]. So, they stay away. My husband, though 84yrs old and gets around, knows he doesn’t have a lot of time… yet, he (and I) are deprived of seeing grandchildren. I’m standing in faith that God’s Word is true in Proverbs 22:6… and hope & pray my husband and I will see the day when it comes to fruition- all in Jesus’ name.
Heavenly Father, we lift up Cbigjack and their family to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to touch the hearts of their children, bringing them back to Your path. Give Cbigjack and their husband peace and strength, trusting in Your promise that when children are trained up in the way they should go, they will not depart from it. Soften the hearts of their sons and daughter, and open doors for restored relationships, allowing the grandchildren to know the love of their grandparents. We pray for unity, understanding, and renewed faith in this family. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
Thank you! May God bless you richly for your prayers for others.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart full of hope and faith. We thank You for Your presence in our lives, and we acknowledge the efforts made to raise the children in a godly manner, instilling in them the values of faith and love. Lord, we lift up this family to You. We pray for the adult children who are struggling with their choices and paths, asking that You gently guide them back to You and help them understand the importance of following Jesus.
We ask for healing in their relationships, especially with their parents, and that they may open their hearts to reconciliation. Lord, may they feel Your love and the love of their family, drawing them closer together.
We pray for the husband, who desires to see his grandchildren, and for this couple to be blessed with time and joy together as a family. We stand in faith, claiming the promise of Proverbs 22:6, believing that the seeds of faith planted in their lives will bear fruit in due time.
In Jesus’ name, we pray for restoration, healing, and a renewed commitment to following You. Amen.
