I pray that my son’s marriage, after a very rough time, be blessed with communication, understanding, respect, laughter and support for one another and their daughter. I pray that the child he had outside of his marriage be blessed with health, family love and happiness. I also ask for God to bless my daughter in law with the decision to never drink again and to be a warmer more understanding person. Thank you Dear God
Heavenly Father, we lift up this heartfelt prayer to You. Please hear the desire of this parent’s heart for their son’s marriage to be renewed with communication, understanding, respect, laughter, and support. Bless their home with unity and peace, and pour Your love upon their daughter. We also ask that You watch over the child born outside the marriage, surrounding them with health, family love, and lasting happiness. Touch the heart of the daughter-in-law, Lord, and give her the strength to turn away from drinking and to grow in warmth, kindness, and understanding. We pray that Your grace will bring healing, forgiveness, and restoration to this family. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
