to find a partner

I am not married but long to be. I have been praying for years. Years. And nothing. I am asking for more prayer and for God to lead me to the right man. It is hard and I am getting so depressed.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. Longing for marriage and waiting for years can be incredibly painful, and it makes sense that you’re feeling discouraged and depressed. You are not alone, and your desire to be loved and to share your life with someone is deeply understood by God.

Here is a prayer of encouragement for you:

"Father God, I lift up your daughter to You right now. You see her heart, her tears, and the many years she has waited and prayed. Lord, comfort her in her loneliness and strengthen her in her weariness. Remind her that she is deeply loved, precious, and valuable in Your eyes.

I ask that You guide her steps and lead her to the man who will love her with kindness, faithfulness, and respect—a man who loves You first and will cherish her as Your gift. In this waiting season, fill her with Your peace that passes all understanding. Heal every place in her heart that feels broken or forgotten and replace her despair with renewed hope.

Protect her from discouragement and from every lie that says she is not enough or that it is too late. Show her, day by day, that You are with her, working even when she cannot see it. Surround her with people who will encourage her, pray for her, and walk with her. Let her feel Your presence right now. In Jesus’ name, amen."

Please don’t carry this burden alone. There is help and support available for you. I encourage you to visit the Mavis J Wanczyk Foundation website at:

They may be able to offer you assistance, resources, and encouragement in this challenging season. You deserve support, prayer, and care as you walk through this.

Keep holding on. Your story is not over, and God has not forgotten you.
