Prayer for My Family’s Hearts This Easter
Lord God, as Easter is tomorrow, I come before You asking You to touch the hearts of my husband, my son, and my daughter. Remind them of the truth of what Easter is really all about—the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Let their hearts be filled with gratitude, humility, and thankfulness before You. Your Word says, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Lead them into all truth, Lord.
Father, I ask You to work in their hearts and teach them to communicate gratitude and thanks. Help them to be mindful of others around them. Teach them to walk in love, fairness, and consideration, not favoritism. Your Word says, “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves” (Philippians 2:3).
Lord, I surrender to You what is not mine to carry. It is not my place to hold everything together. Your Word says, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (1 Peter 5:7). So today I cast this burden on You. I ask You to order this family in the way that is right.
Father, direct my husband’s heart. Turn his heart toward his wife and family in the right way, with love, honor, and proper priority. Let the Holy Spirit gently correct him, convict him, and lead him to do what is right. Remove selfishness and replace it with love, wisdom, and understanding. Your Word says, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10).
Lord, bring every heart into its proper place. Let love be shown toward people first, with kindness, care, and truth. Bring peace, order, and right priorities into this home. Draw all of our hearts into truth and alignment with Your will.
