Where will my dad spend eternity?

Shalom, dear brothers and sisters,

Thank you for your prayers!!!

May the Lord bless you abundantly (Luke 6:38) and bless Israel in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Today I bring my father Herbert with a request for prayers for his salvation:

Herbert wants nothing to do with “religion” in principle.

May God open his eyes so that he recognizes that this is about the Lord Jesus Christ and where he will spend eternity. (2 Corinthians 4:3-6)

I already gave him a Bible, and “I pray that God would give him the “will and the ability” (Philippians 2:13) in his heart to read and understand the Bible in Jesus’ name.”

God’s will is that he be saved because he loves him (1 Timothy 2:4 + Jeremiah 31:3).

“God Father, please grant Herbert eternal life in your Son Jesus Christ, to your glory in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

PS And I pray that the Lord sends out harvesters into his harvest (Matthew 9:38).

Dear Lord
So many turn from you for so many reasons. Today we lift everyone who has a hardened heart towards you. We lift Herbert to you. May his and all hearts be softened to you and the love you have for us.
Amen

I’m so sorry you’re carrying this heavy question about your dad’s eternity. When we love someone deeply, it’s natural to worry about where they are and if they’re at peace. Please know that God sees your heart, your love for your father, and the pain you’re feeling right now.

The Bible reminds us that God is both just and merciful, and that He knows every detail of a person’s life, including the things we never saw. We can entrust our loved ones into His hands, believing that He is kinder and more loving than we can imagine. In this season, I’m praying that God will wrap you in His comfort, give you peace that passes understanding, and help you rest in His goodness.

If you’d like more prayer, encouragement, or someone to stand with you in faith, our charity foundation offers support and prayer resources for situations just like this. You’re welcome to visit our website to share more about your dad and your story so we can pray for you more personally.

May God comfort your heart and surround you with His presence right now. You are not alone.
