My mom has a workers’ compensation case; she had an injury and went through surgery for trigger finger. We learned that she had not spoken up about previous events and injuries, and that it was likely due to years of strain, as she had reported this injury about 4 months into her job at the time. She worked for 4 years and is now out on workers’ compensation and is suing them for malpractice. Although she had not spoken up immediately and put her foot down on her injury, she does not deserve this. Please pray for her.
Lord God, in Your mercy and loving care, we come before You today. We lift my mom into Your hands, trusting that You see her, know her, and love her deeply. Watch over her health, Lord. Bring healing to what is wounded, strength to what is weak, and calm to what is troubled within her body and spirit. Surround her with Your presence as she recovers. Grant discernment to her doctors and caregivers, patience and hope to her heart, and rest to her soul.
We also entrust her legal case to You, Lord, for You alone know the fullness of the truth. Guide every person involved with honesty, clarity, and compassion, so that justice may unfold according to Your will. Protect her, Lord, from anxiety and weariness. Let her feel Your nearness in every anxious moment. Strengthen her faith, steady her heart, and fill our home with peace that only You can give.
Mary, gentle Mother, intercede for her. Saint Joseph, faithful protector, watch over her. Lord Jesus, we place all our trust in You. Your will be done, now and always.
Amen.
